Grow your business skills capability with a low-cost solution:  apprentices

Are you worried about where you are going to find your future engineers or team leaders?  Then you need to consider how to flex the funding available for talent development through apprenticeships.

There is also a Government incentive available to help make this an attractive option.

The Apprentice Grant for Employers – an incentive payment to recruit!

There is a new grant of up to £4,000 per person you can claim for any new staff you recruit to your business as an apprentice between April and end January 2022 (England) and end February 2022 (Wales).

You can only apply for new apprentices who joined your organisation from 1 April 2021 to end January 2022.

You cannot apply for an existing employee who joined your organisation before 1 April 2021, even if they started an apprenticeship after this date.

The funding is available across the UK with regional differences (Wales extended to February).
