The Degree Apprentice Fund in Wales – offers a new opportunity to employers to recruit apprentice engineers and IT staff and support them to have a career, study for a university degree, day-release, and earn a salary – with no student loans!

This new fund from Welsh Government supports employers to recruit and train new employees to become future Engineers or IT professionals in your business at no cost. 

Employers can also use the funding to support existing part-qualified engineers in the business to upskill to an IMECHE approved B.Eng. degree in Integrated Engineering.

Degree courses start in September 2022 and enrolment has begun.
